I'm no master tailor, but I have yet to see a open coat other then the rugged jacket.. so why is that?

I would like to make my self a nice biz suit, but the suit jacket has a weird side butten thing...

so can we git some more open coats?, or maybe a way to unziper some of them?

Many of the jackets are "open" actually : cold weather jacket (field I), pilot's jacket (casual IV), reinforced jacket (field II), short vest (casual IV), to quote just a few ...

Actually, there are a couple jackets like that in the domestic arts line too.
