- Tip email messages are now from the bank, not from the player that made the tip, providing better feedback to avoid /tip scams
I'm assuming this will go to live when publish 8 hits (next Tuesday???). All rejoice!

Hey Jess, could you report back what exact changes have been made on the email? Is the sender's name in the body now? Is "Bank" in the from field and thus not tamperable?

I've never had a problem with fake tips.. but I meticulously (sp?) check my balance when someone's about to bank tip me.. the peace of mindwill bevery nice

The "sender" field is now "bank" and the body of the message reads as normally "blah blah credits from blah blah havebeen delivered..." It can't be faked unless the player's name is "bank".

Whew, thanks for reporting this, this problem was really starting to worry me. Some guy in my guild just sent everyone in the guild a fake bank transfer the other day as a "joke" and of course all hell broke loose and now everyone is more than aware of it and it's only a matter of time before it really starts to get abused on a much wider scale.
Hope this makes it "live" very soon.
