I wonder if its safe to place a +6 weaponsmith experimentaion tape into a clothing already haveing an +4 weapon assembly?
Dont want the first one to dissapear...
If i would to place the same type of tape into same piece of cloth, would the highest, or latest one be there in the end?
(I know that same tape dont add..which I think is strange and sad, and hopefully it will be changed in the future)

I have put both a + food assembly and a + food experimentation tape into a single article of clothing, and had both mods stick.

As long as the article of clothing doesn't already have a weapon experimentation modifier, which it sounds like it doesn't, you'll be fine. Assembly and experimentation bonuses don't cancel eachother out.

Here's how it works:
Say you have two skill tapes, one +3 weapon assembly and +4 weapon assembly. If you put them on the SAME item of clothing, you're wasting a skill tape. However, if you have +4 weapon experimentation and +4 weapon assembly, you can put those on the same item. If they're modifying different things, they can go on the same item.
Keep in mind as well, that as of right now, items with multiple modifiers don't work as intended. So if you have a skill tape with +4 weapon assembly and +3 experimentation on the SAME tape, only the highest modifier will take effect.

Any crafting skills (Assembly, Experimentation, Repair) are considered unique skills, and each tape can be placed in the item without affecting the others. Dropping in a skill that is EXACTLY the same will waste one or the other, depending which is the smaller value.

Great, thank you all for your answers...
And I do hope that the developers will make same tape typeadd togheter in same clothing (dont know if im alone wanting this, I have not seen thisrequest in the list for things people want changed for tailors).. But perhaps this, "non-adding", isn´t a bug and the developers thougt about it making the game...?

It isn't in the tailoring wish list because SEAs are not a tailored item, nor are they unique to tailored goods. The request would be more apropriate coming as a Core Systems one.

That's not even behaving consistently anymore. I put a Disease Resistance 4, Pistol Speed 2 attachment in an item (new item, all sockets empty) and the Pistol Speed stuck.
