Thread: do not give -bobo- mall access on bria

(I am reposting this here because it concerns all merchants that might have a mall on bria)
-BOBO- just entered my guild and wanted to place a vendor in our guild mall where we have lots of nice decorations.
Since I did not know him I was going to let him place a vendor while watching and then remove him from admin.
Well he was pretendingto bea total noob running around the mall not knowing what to do, then he grabbed some paintings off the wall before we could remove his admin and said "hah hah imps suck"
these paintings had a value of over3 million credits on our server.
Someone like this cannot be trusted by anyone though and should be shuned by all players that come accross him, especially merchants.
We were trying to help him and he totally ripped us off even though we took all precautions.
I understand faction griefing and spying and whatnot but this was theft through deception, plain and simple. We are not even a totally imperial guild and have not done any pvp for several months. So his argument that this was to steal back something from imperials to right the wrongs against the rebels is just not valid.
so ban -bobo- and do not ever give him acces to your mall. If the CSRs do not act we must in order to maintain a good environment to play in.

When I read this I laughed, not because I think it's funny, but because I cannot believe someone had the cahunas to do something like that! 
The worst thing that heppened in the game for me was when I started out IDing and was raising credits to become a tailor, and I spent so much time IDing another character, told him my price before hand, and he left without paying. Not quite 3 million credits, but I was so mad! 
Sorry that happened to you, it really stinks that in a game, people have to be dishonest.

Yeah, it sucks but I did manage to buy most of the stuff off of peoples loot vendors within a few hours except for the one anniversary painting. did cost around 3mil and that one painting will cost another mil probably.
I finally got a csr response and they basically gave me the shaft saying it was within game mechanics and they couldn't do anything about it.
I guess they just ignore all the bad words he shouted at us and his admitting to griefing us and how he was planning to do so all along in spacial chat. I mean I at least thought he would get a warning for the bad language even if they do allow people to grief and get away with it now.
I guess it is up to us crafters to try and keep the business world safe. Too bad we have to give them admin to place a vendor. I hate that. now I will have to pull up all my decorations before allowing anyone place a vendor then redecorate again when they are done.
Running a mall is hard enough work, now I have to deal with this crap too.
I am just disapointed in the CSRs though. we had the whole guild (most of which has his spatial chat or tells in their logs) and this guy will probably be back again tomorrow griefing us again without even a warning.

Its horrible when stuff like that happens. Only advice I can give to you is not allow anyone admin you don't trust. Not only can they steal whats in the guild hall they can take maint money out of the guild hall/mall.

i gota say the same it made me laugh aswell ..... just becasue its the only emotion that i can do to this situation.
its so messed up that some one would actually try to pull it off the audacitiy of them must be sky high....
like everybody deep down has thought of funny little stunts u could do to ppl in game for a laugh but u never actually go through with it, you just imagine it for a laugh but then some absolute moron actually does this.
ban -bobo- / agree ok i actually have no major proof from u guys but if this is true about bobo id post in every crafters and trade forum and make this known...... this act cannot go unpunished !

That really sucks. My only advice is to stand there like a hawk with your slashcommands ready and insist that he use them as well.
/createv for create vendor (so he doesn't have to run to the terminal)
and /setpermission admin xxx for taking him off admin. (for you)
at least next time, if the dude moves one foot, you hit the /setpermission admin macro.

We had kinda the same thing happen to our guild on lowca. We gave him building rights and a house becuase he pretended to be a completly new character with no money. Ended up him stealing the med tat house, and causing the guild to be freaked out that a rebel had rights to build in our city, and even though we arnt into pvp at all might try and do something to mess it up. Definalty no where near as bad as the 3 mil though...that really sucks...Its sad that people would do stuff like that...
