I'm finding myself a bit out of my depth! I'm not going to mine,I don't have enough lots for a start as I don't have any lots, but that's OK because I have the money to buy resources. What should I factory produce first? How much of what do I factory produce? What am I going to need to factory produce the most? Argh! Haha. I want a well stocked vendor but I obviously understand it's going to take a while whilst I get myitemsand resources sorted.I'm really enjoying making clothes though, typical girl!
Sorry this post is a bit all over the place, just so many question buzzing in my head!
Thanks for reading/replying!

Make a lotta synthetic cloth (probably a max run of 1000), then a lesser amount of metal fasteners, reinforced fiber panel, trim, and jewelry settings, then it'll be time to make more synthetic cloth again, lol.

Thank you so much! Must say, this is a brilliantly maintained forum. All the FAQs, even the colour codes somebody made for color blind tailors. Brilliant!

A run of shoe soles never hurts either

Perhaps, but in the 1 year that I've been a tailor, I think I've run about 4 crates of these, lol. Seriously, since so few items need these, and since no items need factory identical ones, generally I keep a crate or two lying around my shop for convenience but it's not even worth taking up the inventory space to carry these, and generally it's less work to just make the damn thing rather than rooting around trying to find the crate, lol. The same was also true of fiberplast panels until they introduced the damn chef items that require identical ones ![]()

If I were you I'd drop all of Tailor and retrain the profession, but this time don't grind. Take your time and learn the class rather than be a Insta-noobMaster. You'll quickly learn what you need to make all your items and get a feel for for levels of components you'll need.
As other's have said, Synth Cloth, Metal Fasteners, RFP, Jewelry Settings are all very much used. A crate or three of fiberplast panels and shoe soles will save you time sometimes. You can skip the wookiee pillows for now I'm sure. Oh a ton of Trim too, always forget that stuff.

well i wouldnt drop it and retrain, that'd be sorta hurtful on your brain.
but however i would may yourself non-searchable as a master tailor so you can get the hang of things for a bit, other
wise you will have millions of folks asking you questions you cant yet answer.
maybe make some pretty dresses to sell on the bazaar aswell as a means of revenue
definately make alot of crates of synthetic cloths, reinforced fiber panels, trim, metal fasts. etc.
the most important thing to do now that you are a master is learn your trade, and
most of all...have fun!!!dress yourself!!!dress others!!!

As has been said above... You can NEVER have enough synth cloth. Oh, trim too. Shoe soles once in a while (Don't think I've got through 2 crates in the last month). Metal fasteners and jewelry settings seem to go quite quickly but not quickly enough to warrant a full 1k run. Reinforced fiber pannels... I've maybe got through about the same ammount as shoe soles. But this again is probably 'cause of my customer base.
Maybe this is 'cause 99% of my customers are dancers wanting pretty things.
Oh and make sure you've got a nice stack of hide as well. Especiallywooly. I'm looking forward to the hours I'm gonna end up spending hunting huurtons on dant about as much as I'm looking forward to restocking my vendor...Keep putting it off and putting it off... Sure, I make my money by wandering into cantinas with the title up but... Must... stock.. vendor...
Okay, I'll do it 'tomorrow'...

Lol taking the title of probably is a good idea, of course i left mine on when i first became a tailor and got all those questions that i didnt know...makes ya learn fast lol but you kinda look dumb when you have to tell someone 3 times that you honestly dont know the answer cause they think you are just blowing them off...
but yeah make a ton of synthetic cloth and a decent amount of trim....i use a lot of the reinforced fiber panals, but my customer base is mostly combat proffessions. if you are catering more to ents id focus on jewlery settings more then the panals, then metal fasteners come in handy sometimes...least of importance as already stated is fiberplast panals and shoe soles...i made a case of each and havnt used the whole case in 3 months...
