I have a spec ops pack with 3 sockets. I have asked in game how to attach skill tapes to itand people reply to me like Im stupid lol. But the pack's letters are green! and it says 3 sockets inside the details window! This could be a bug but that never happens in this game lol
Anyways, some information and help is appreciated.
Thanks

Its a bug. Backpacks either aren't supposed to have sockets, or the devs didn't include a game mechanic to allow SEA's to be attached.

Actually it's an "Intended Game Mechanic" (or at least it was intended back on publish 2 when I put in a ticket on it before I knew about the forums)

Well, either way, its still bugged and no hope of getting it fixed one way or the other. In fact backpacks are the only time I sit there praying to the socket gods to have 0 sockets

Another example of, " oh it's a tailor item, don't waste your time fixing it"
/sigh

Well it's confusing because the sockets are non-functional, but I guess I'm not particularly upset about it, because it's working as intended. It's not something I have even mentioned to the devs, outside the "big list" - because honestly I don't want them to spend a second fixing what is essentially a display bug rather than focusing on necklaces, slave skirt, etc.
