uI just got myself a schematic and would like to know a few things about it. I'm sorry if these have allready been asked but I couldn't find them.
1. Is the schematic single use or unlimited use?
2. What resources/components are needed to make one?
3. Is the proffession it helps random or do I get a choice?

They have 3 uses.
2. What resources/components are needed to make one?

As far as I know, it randomly chooses one of the four types and I don't know of any way to determine which one you have prior to learning it.

I have a schematic for a crafter's apron, but I can't tell which type it is. Is there some way that I can check without learning the schematic?
(sorry in advance for what may seem like a simple question)

Unless something has changed, there's no way to know until you learn the schematic

The crafter's aprons can only be made by a master tailor. There is no way to find out the type of apron it is until the tailor "learns" the schematic. At that point 3 aprons can be made out of that schematic but you cannot get the schematic back.
The aprons are either for medics, tailors, chefs or architechts.
