Thread: Tailoring Experimentation?

I'm fairly new to the whole crafting thing, but I discovered today (after purchasing a General Crafting Station and a droid with a built-in Food and Chemical Crafting Station) I could experiment on items produced "using" them.

I have a Clothing Station in my house, but so far I've not had the ability to Experiment on any clothing I make. My guess is I need the appropriate Tailoring Skill (Experimentation/Assembly one - the one on the far right?)

Can somebody explain (A) what effects Experimentation can have on clothing and (B) what the Effectiveness of my station effects? It's a +13 Effectiveness, but I've no idea what that means!

Thanks in advance,

Tyl

As of a few BigPatches(tm) ago, tailors lost their experimentation. All the station is doing is giving you a reduced chance of critical fails, and allowing you to make schematics.
