Well, I am a rifleman and creature handler, but my friend wants to know how to tailor things. She doesn't know jack about it, and neither do I so I am posting this here for her. Can you help? Where does she start? Oh, and can she do it while she is dancing in the cantina?

ok here is your check list:

1. Immediately transfer 500000 into her account or start dropping heavies to mine fiberplast, steel and inert chemical.

2. Have her buy artisan , a generic craft tool and have here begin grinding thru the domestic tree in artisan.

3. Take your maulers out on bantha missions and accumulate about 50000 of wooly so that she will have enough leather to grind with as well, plus to craft special items later as she gets into the tailor tree,

4. Buy her a wearables factory so she can make crates of the various panels needed to make most items.

5. Deposit another 500000 into her account so she can grind all the way to master,

6. Buy her a droid with a craft option so she can make any and all items in both the artisan tree and tailor tree that she is certified for.

7. While you do all that ,,have her read the stickied post at the top of this forum and the other faq's in some of the fan sites.

Too bad, don't have that kind of money. Screw it...

Can also do it the more patient way, which would be to make things when you feel like it and can afford it. Sell some of what you make on the vendor.

But my recommendation is to check out the new FAQ thread and some of the links that are provided.
