Thread: New Bug? Crated bio-enhanced components lose their stats!

I seem to have come across a mean bug tonight. It appears that my crates of enhanced cloths are losing their stats. The crate still has the stats listed on them, and I've used cloths from them before, but nowwhen I pull an item out, it is unenhanced. Has anyone seen this?

Here is part of my report to CS:

I have several crates of enhanced reinforced fiber panels and synthetic cloth that were created using bio-engineered tissues. I've used items from these crates as recently as two nights ago with little difficulty. However, tonight when I pulled cloths from the crate, the cloths I pulled did not have their stats. Crates that were created later than these crates seem to be ok; I can pull cloths from them that retain their stats, but these crates produce items without them. The following crates are affected (so far):

Reinforced Fiber Panels
------------------------------
Name: RFP +14 Bleed Defense
Object Creator: elh
Bleeding Defense: +14
Three items were pulled from crate (four remaining in crate); none have the +14 bleeding defense that they should. Serial numbers match between panels and crate. One was accidentally used in a formfitting shirt schematic before missing stat was discovered. The stat did not show up in that shirt.

Name: RFP +14 Camo/Mask Scent
Object Creator: elh
Mask Scent: +14
Camouflage: +14
Three items were pulled from crate (nine remaining in crate); none have the +14 camouflage/mask scent that they should. Serial numbers match between panels and crate.

Synthetic Cloth
-------------------
Name: SC +7 Heal Music/Dance
Object Creator: elh
Wound Healing (Music): +7
Wound Healing (Dance): +7
Two items were pulled from crate (four remaining in crate); neither have +7 wound healing dance/music. Serial numbers match between cloths and crate. One of these cloths was recently used (within the last few days) correctly with the stats in a wookiee sage's hood.

Pretty disconcerting. AsI said, I used at least one of these just a few nights ago. The only thing these crates have in common is that they're a fair bit older than most of my other crates. I hope this doesn't mean tissues expire, or that there's something about old crates that no longer work...

Try filling the slots using the crate itself. I seem to remember that was the workaround the last time something like this happened. It should work if the crates are in your inventory rather than the crafting station's input hopper.

I'm glad you filed this, but there are two very well known bugs at work here.

1) Don't pull crated cloths/rfps from their crates during the combine. Doing so can result in losing your bonuses.

2) Add un-enhanced cloths before adding the enhanced ones if you are mixing them in the same schematic (e.g. in wookiee sage hood add 2 unenhanced synth cloth and then 2 enhanced ones to get to +25). Not doing so can result in losing your bonuses.

Yeah, I usually follow those guidelines. I did the crafting directly from crate today and it worked. That must've been what I did with the sage's hood the other day.Lastnight I haddecided to ration a few out of each crate and work with them, which is why I'd pulled them from the crate individually.

Still, it's weird that some crates do this and some do not.
