Need to know as a wookie, goes, they are limited to what they can wear.

I am not sure as I haven't made packs in awhile but i think so

nope, currently when you drop a skilltape into the backpack, it moves the tape into the backpack as a container, not as a socketed item. I'm not sure if they will be changing this anytime in the near future though
