I was wondering if this is a valuable or semi-valuable item.

Item description reads:

"This nebulizer is used to deliver a liquid concentration containing micro-crystals during the tailoring of clothing.

The treatement helps give the garment a lustrous shine, as well as prevent wear and tear on outfits that are meant for active use"

Depends on the going price on your server. One is not worth a great deal, around bazaar limit prices. A batch upto 6, thats worth a lot more, I paid 50k for a batch like that. Half the minimum bid the guy was asking and nobody else even bothered to try for them. I've heard of the Leotards going for some quite high prices on other servers, price limit on Chimaera seems to be around the 30-40k mark.

Personally, I have a BIG issue with the way these things are being sold...On my server, the going rate is 150K per. Sometimes I get lucky and pick one up for 100K.

This is outrageous! these things are a 'lucky drop', but those combat types that are out there getting XP anyways, and suddenly get some lucky item suddenly think they have the ability to charge an arm and a leg for these!

I mean, as a Tailor, I don't randomly stumble upon a Krayt Pearl, or something needed for Combat types as I craft clothes!.

The worst part is, these same wealthy combat guys then don't want to pay for a crafter's Apron, after THEY were the ones that are forcing the price to be ultra high!

Something needs to be done about this for sure...either increase the drop rate of necessary components like these, or make them non-tradeable.

Here's an example of one of my encounters, as I was trying to buy some Leather for a crafting apron:

Combat Lumphead: Hey, I saw your post on the trade forums...I have some of those leathers.

Me: Yes, I'm looking to buy them, but I won't pay an outrageous price for them.

Combat Lumphead: I know they're really valuable. I won't sell them for less than 300K EACH.

Me: (Laughing) Riiight...fat chance. {After 15 minutes of negotiating, I finally get him down to 150K per ugh!}

*two days later*

Combat Lumphead (Same guy! He must have forgotten who I was!): You're a Master Tailor? I'd like to buy a Medical Crafter's Apron from you, BE'd

Me: OK, I am selling those for 400K.

Combat Lumphead: That's A Rip-Off! There was a guy I know who was selling them for 50K!

Me: Uhm, YOU sold me those leathers the other day at 150K a pop. The Apron takes TWO...plus I only have so many uses on these schematics. Do the math.

I totally feel your pain! I know a good bunch of people and luck out on occassion with hey I found this thing and don't want it you can have it. Then again I am more apt to toss them a free set of BE clothing too with tapes to make up for it.

If you pay 300k for the leather you cannot do anything but charge 400k for the item - the economy basically is a bit on the hosed side - most noted on Wanderhome.

I also get a lot of people wanting free things after I purchase stuff from them. Here's what I use. I don't get as many requests for free things anymore, but I'm not loosing any money either.

Identical Heavy Duty Leather (100k per unit)

New Schematics for Crafters Aprons, ExquisiteDancer's Leotards, Toolsetsand Belts (250k each)

Crystaline Clothing Treatments (50k per unit)

Heavy Duty Clasps (25k per unit)

Trading Schematics/Components for the new Limited Schematic items:

If you are looking to trade schematics for 1 of whatever the schematic makes please be advised of something. These schematics require ingredients that are loot drop only and expensive for me to get a hold of. Or if you have the loot drop be aware that I probably paid a lot for the schematic and it would cost me money to make it simply in trade for the components. I'm not buying everyone on Lowca a crafter's apron so here's how you can get a free or reduced costone:

You have the schematic:

Crafter's Apron: 500k

Exquisite Dancer's Leotard: 250k(this is a moot point as I am out of crystaline clothing treatments at the moment)

Toolsets: 200k

Belts: 100k

Backpacks: 200k

You have the Heavy Duty Leather:

Crafter's Apron (requires 2 identical): 250k

Backpacks (requires 1): 200k

You have Heavy Duty Clasps:

Toolsets (requires 2 identical): 200k

Belts (requires 2 identical): 150k

You have crystaline clothing treatment:

Exquisite Dancer's Leotard (requires 1 crystaline clothing treatment): 200k

All you have is schematics and you want it for free:

2 schematics = 1 free item

All you have is the component and you want a free item:

double the amount of components required to make the item = 1 free item

You have both the schematic and the requireddrop onlycomponents to make the item you want:

= 1free item

Sadly enough, on Starsider, the Crystalline Clothing treatments are worth more as decorations than the crafted Exquisite Leotard is. I recently saw a CCT go for 400k, while the leotards made from them don't move at 250k. Craziness.

The crafter's aprons are a problem for me. People are constantly sending me /tells saying that they have a schematic for a crafters apron and they have two identical pieces of leather, so can I please make one for them really cheap (or free)? The problem is that only two of the aprons sell at all. Those are the chef and medic crafter's aprons. I have sold a total of *one* tailor apron and no architect's aprons at all. I have almost all of the apron schematics memorized (can you learn all 4? Smi seems to always get the medic apron and I seem to always get the chef one.) and of course these people want one of the two popular and useful ones. I have to turn them down because if I kept making aprons in exchange for schematics I would end up with a huge pile of tailor and architect apron schematics and nothing that I can sell.
