I have a small shop in Duex Soliel City, Tatooine, Intrepid. Once some of the insanity of real life settles down I'm going to start rotating my displays monthly to reflect a theme for each month. examples being.
January: Not to sure yet.
February: Valentine's Day. Assortment of Formal and Casual wear in Reds, Pinks, Whites and Purples.
March: St. Patrick's Day. Greens, Yellows, Whites
April: Spring and Easter
May: Memorial Day. Mainly military wear.
This is just a sample of the ideas I have come up with. My question is this. Does anyone else rotate their displays like this or is it too much work and I'm about to bit off more than I can chew?

If I were a customer of yours, I'd probably keep coming back to see what you had on display each month. By changing your shop theme, you keep the customer interested in what else you have up your sleeve, or gives them new ideas as far as outfits.
Great idea, I may borrow it.

Ani'cul does that as well, a full house dedicated to showing fashions of the week, month, season, and 'costume'.
It's well woth it if you have the time to spend. It's not just for they fact of showing great design ideas, but for the fact you are showing you take detail into consideration and are proud to show your wares.
Any crafters who take the time to add names to items, displays out on floor, or use up vendor space to show every item they have is a crafter with pride in work.
That's what keeps people coming back. Not for the show, but for the 'glow'

I have kinda done something like this. A few weeks back I started getting alot of request for pinks nd other pastels. So I choose a few pastels and stocked alot of mix and match stuff on my vendors and put on my shop ship *Spring colors now in stock* I also changed all of the displays in my shop to those colors and used shorts and spring type clothing outfits. People seem to like it. Good luck with your ideas..they all sound great!
