I recently bought a wearables factory and i get a warning that say that i cant use it because i dont have a draft schematic for it

I am a novice tailor and i have another friend who gets that same warning though the is higher than me

I am doing something wrong??

That's the right type of factory.

You need a schematic, which you need to produce yourself - it's not the same as the schematics you get when you train.

When you make something near a clothing crafting station, you should get an option to create a schematic or a prototype. Choose schematic and a manufacturing schematic will be produced. Now figure out the number of resources needed by multiplying the resources needed for 1 item by the number of items you want. Now, go to the factory and use the radial to load the schematic and deposit the resources in the input hopper. Add money and power and start production. The items produced should be in the output hopper.

Hmm, I don't know why then, does it have power? If so, try remaking the schematic, you never know what might have went wrong...

You need an equipment factory, I think

Metal fasteners have always been craftable in a wearables factory. So have fiberplast panels. As far as I know there is nothing that tailors use in schematics that require an equipment factory (except for repair tools/crafting tools used in the publish 6 schematics, and only if you need identical ones for a factory run of the limited-use schematic.)

Darn missing edit function....

That goes for anyone else you know. If you want to add me to your friend list and check if I am online, just add me with this line:

/addfriend Gorath.Jame'thiel

and the case is important. so use capital G and J where appropriate. I can certainly answer questions if I'm online

You said it's not a radial option, so I think I might know the problem. It's not an option on the radial menu, but a sub-option. You have to go to options (I think - it's the 3rd item in the radial menu), then Insert Schematic. If you've created a schematic already, and you look in your datapad and see it under data (NOT draft schematics), and you're getting the warning that you don't have a schematic that will work in the station, then that's not normal.

Sometimes, the radial menu doesn't like to work. I've found waiting a little while (up to 30 mins) and trying again will usually clear that up; if not, the next server reset should.

I hope that helped.

exactly...heh...i was going to try and be more help but you should only get like 2 or 3 options before a schematic is in the factory itself...are you sure you clicked create a schematic...i know i constantly hit the wrong buttons and end up with components rather than schematics...but i haven't heard of this before...i will agree with the take it down and redeed it and put it back up...
