Thread: Some Thoughts After a Great Day.

Hi Everyone 
I'm relatively new to these boards, although i've been playing SWG regularly for the past month or so. I'm a tailor - working to be a master - on Corbantis and have enjoyed myself thoroughly so far.
Yesterday I broke into the BE market, and I must say it was pretty exciting. I wasn't too sure about BE after some things I read about bugs and stacking, to be honest I was a bit hesitant. I got hold of some tissues and made a few shirts and other things and within minutes turned a profit from some people in my guild - i couldn't believe it! Riding on this enthusiasm, i decided to craft some Longsleeved shirts, all tan coloured, with +16 to vicious and wild animal taming. Not sure how much I should sell each shirt for, i decided on a nice round number - 10k.
I managed to spam at the Mining Outpost on Dantooine for about 3 minutes before I was flooded with /tells - some people wanted my shirts, other people hating me for spamming, some people wanted to know which animals I had on sale and other people wanted me to make them look cool. Sticking to just selling the shirts and getting out of there as quickly as possible, i managed to unload all 10 of them in about 5 minutes - it was miraculous.
My thoughts about all this? I can't help but feel that 1) I sold them for too low a price, 2) They are in high demand or 3) I just ripped off a bunch of newbies. What do you guys think? I'd really appreciate some feedback

How about......ALL OF THE ABOVE???!!! hehehe/congrats on ur new adventure I myself am too busy to branch out in to the BE line of clothes right now....there is a website though that gives u help with priceing....but..uh..its late and I cant think straight

On Tempest, I sell my +16 taming clothing for 13k. I also have +14 taming clothes for 12k (can't seem to get resources good enough to get back up to +16, but it doesn't matter because I just make +25 stuff mostly these days).
I never know if I'm charging too much or too little, but I charge what I feel is appropriate based on my costs and how well they sell and my mood at the time, and adjust if necessary.
I've seen BE clothing extremely cheap, and extremely expensive, so I'd say just charge what you're comfortable with.

Yesterday really coined it for me, i never thought in a million year there would be so much demand for BE clothing. I made 200k in about half an hour yesterday off BE clothing alone Thanks very much for your feedback!

I sell the shirts for about 16k with those stats. Getting the tissues is a pain.
