Well, I sat for 10 hours yesterday restocking my vendors (OMG I will never let them get that low again!) and I really hadn't noticed any difference in socket numbers. In fact, for a while I was getting a straight run of 1 socket items. After that happened, I decided I needed a break, came back little while later, and had a straight run of 4 socket items for about 10 items

Is it just me, or are our sockets 'working' again?
I have an order for 5 sunhats each with 4 sockets which worried me a bit but I've managed to get my 5 with only two 3 socket ones and one 1 socket one in between.
I've thought I've been getting more 4 socket items since publish 9 but this is the first time I've really noticed a difference.
Of course I might just be having a lucky day?

Sockets.....What sockets? I've been restocking my vendor most of the night, with the hopeless aim to get 4-sockets clothes. I'm a master tailor and despite using crafters apron and all sorts of clothing attachments so my skills goes to 124 for clothing assembly, 113 for clothing experimentation and 4 for clothing repair, then I kept getting these "lovely" amazing successes with no or only one socket...
Atm I'm really beginning to loathe this profession and this despite the fact that I usually love being an artisan and have had a blast for the most of the time I've played, which goes back almost a year.
My suggestions is that SOE starts to care a little bit more about us tailors, give us a few benefits like making jewelry visible...(fancy that eh?), new colors (particular the wookiee clothes could use some smashing colors), schematics (preferly something you wont have to fight for to get, since being all 100% artisan makes that a bit impossible) or at least just fix the damn socket system so it actually fits the skill level you're at. Like Master tailor aka 85 % ability to make 4-sockets clothes..
Ukies I've had a hard nights work and it made me a bit grumpy, but still plz make the life of a tailor a bit funnier, 'cause atm it isnt worth much.

I had a really strange night last night making clothing. After being gone for over a week I had tons of stuff to relist and I'll probably be making clothing all week just to restock, hehe, but I made probably 30 articles of clothing or so. Of the first 5 that I made 4(!) of them had 4 sockets. WOHOOO! I made those in my shop on Naboo. Then I travelled to coronet. I got stopped by several people wanting clothing, then I made around 15 or so to put on the bazaar. Of all those other items I made, I don't think a single one of them had 4 sockets. In fact, I had a streak of like 10 items in a row that had exactly 2 sockets. So... I dunno what the hell is going on.

I guess I need to start tracking this. By looking on my vendor, I seem to make 4 socket items about 90% of the time pre-patch. I will have to apy attention to what I make post-patch to see if I make more. Interesting.

The first 5 things I made today one after a row were 4 sockets and I thought there was something wrong...lol...for the rest of the day, I got 3's? Any word from this last lil' update from yesterday that maybe something got changed?

Speaking of sockets, NJ, did you ever get that update from the devs regarding sockets that you had been talking about a while back?

I asked for clarification and they havne't gotten back to any of us who were supposed to get clarifications (Kwee, NancyJ, and me)... so I'm going to tack it on to the next batch of questions (with a reminder that we were promised clarification). We still get to ask the new question too, or else!
