Thread: Do Reinforced Panels with BE Tissues stick to armor?

Im going to get BE tissues and I thought Id get a suit made with these tissues in them (BE tissue enhanced Reinforced Panels). Will the tissue attributes stick to the armor?
Unfortunately, no... you can't add BE tissues to armor..they'll be wasted. Your best bet is to get a shirt that you can wear underneath your armor that is BE enchanced.
Good luck!

I would say this is very fortunate. If armor could be enhanced, we would never sell another piece of BE enhanced clothing ever again.
They actually did at one time! But it was taken out during the first few months of the game. Which is fortunate since people never got accustomed to it! Can you imagine the backlash at the tailoring community if the devs had waited until now to remove it?

No. And why the heck are you asking tailors about armor?
Im not. Im asking about the BE enhanced tissues tailors put into reinforced panels which go into armor.

Untrue.
1) Youdont sell BE enhanced clothing much. Its a 1 time sale. Clothes dont break so it lastsforever
2) Youwould still sell the occasional Injury/Wound treatment clothes. They last forever while armor breaks.Clothes dont take away mind. Docs would rather have the Injury/Wound treatment in an outfit of clothing. Its just better.
3) You would still sell the occasional BEenhancedshirt and/or bandolier like you do now. These is the only BE enhanceable clothing that can be worn with armor
Oh, but wait....!!!
You would also sell Reinforced panels to customers (or Armorsmiths) who wanted enhanced armor. Wow! Since armor breaks down, it would mean repeat business. Something you guys rarely have. If they made it so only Master Tailors could enhance the panels/syn cloth, your business would be safe from dabblers ensuring actual $$ for you guys.

We don't? I actually sell quite a lot of BE clothing when I can get the tissues. Quite a few of my customers will buy multiple pieces in different colours to give themselves a choice, even with formfitting undershirts to wear under armour!
And clothing doesn't break yet, don't forget that should be changed with Publish 10.

Umm... Combat related BE undershirts are probably my biggest seller. Also, clothing *is* going to stop working when it reaches 0 condition soon.

*Most* of us who stick with tailoring for more than a few weeks want to make *clothes*, not cloth and subcomponents for other classes. I don't know where so many people got the idea that tailors are supposed to support themselves by selling factory crates of simple items like cloth and trim. Making subcomponents is one of the most boring parts of being a tailor.
