Most probably it's a well-known fact, but i realized it yeserday for the first time. Backpacks doesn't seem to decay during cloning ...

I don't know. It's always been that way. Backpacks can't take clothing attachments or BE tissues so that might be why. However that does raise issues with the limited-use schematic backpacks that have stats.

My guess is that at least for now, until they decide how decay works that it is intentional. If clothing actually couldn't be used if it decayed to 0 people might lose everything in their backpacks and that wouldn't be good. If they simply couldn't be worn then people would suddenly have their inventory completely overloaded and couldn't move anymore which also might not be so good. If they can wear them until they take them off then at least for normal backpacks people would never take them off. After all, how many people normally take off their backpacks. It *would* be nice if the mods on loot schematic backpacks would stop working when it decays, though.

yes, it's the limited use-schematic (the one with camo-bonuses) which got me wondering.
Never thought of what might happen when reaching 0/x. Maybe calling a friend to help while being stuck at the cloning facility? or auto-transfer to bank-account (what happens when it is full?) ... hmm ... Easiest is to not change it.

It's possible that backpack decay was ignored because of possible problems with internal items. If they also decay then you stand at risk of hurting alot of components and things that may not normally be damaged (weapons, resources, etc.) Also,if the backpack is unequiped when reaching 0 condition (a system that is not currently active) - you could be stuck standing in the middle of dathomir with 110 items in your inventory, and no way to move until you deleted or traded 50 items...

I'd lean more towards "Oops, we forgot." Technically backpacks aren't clothing, they're Wearable Containers.
(I have to admit, not having them decay because you could be stuck overloaded is a good theory too. However, I thought they added not being able to move while overloaded a while after decay was reintroduced.)
