Thread: Tailor related CU questions- been over 15 days still no answer ??

Let me know if I messed this up, but I thought that the clothing condition thread was added to the link directory a while ago... probably under polls.
I think it is there!
ok here are my 3 questions:
1- When are they going to introduce more tailor craftable clothing? specifically clothing from the movies.
The only new article of clothing we have gotten since I became a master tailor(and that was 15 months ago) was the extremely revealing skirt /rolleyes.
2- Are they ever going to introduce capes? Watch any or all of the star wars movies and you will see several characters wearing capes, the most notable being Darth vader,Padme, Luke Skywalker, Count Dooku and General Grevious. Not to mention that the vendors have an option for capes, yet we can't make them to sell.I was told that the devs say that Capes are hard to animate, That is B.S. cause take a look at every MMORPG out there(including EQ2) Star wars galaxies is the ONLY Game where you can not wear a cape, in the game Guild wars not only can you wear capes, but you can customize the design and color of them aswell.
3- Are they going to fix the bio clothes mess up? BEcause they made med combat now, all med bio tissues are now reinforced fiberplast and doc dresses and grand healer robes dont take reinforced fiberplast panels so you cant make a docs dress a docs dress and you can heal with a grand healers robe.

Sorry I had not read that there was an answer to those questions, but I still want an answer tomy questions, those answers have nothing to do with my questions, so what do I have to do to get anwers to those questions huh?

The devs don't have time to read every post, and it is most likely (99.9999% chance) that they will never read this one. If you would like the answers of a fellow player, here they are:
- I don't know.
- I don't know.
- I don't know.

The avenues that we have available to us to get such answers are:
1) correspondents
2) dev chats
3) fan fest (or other functions that the devs attend)
For what it's worth, I did ask all three of your questions at fanfest and got back:
1) "we'd like to when we have time"
2) "we'd like to when we have time, but it's technically challenging"
3) *crickets chirp*
I dunno what the deal is, but every time I've brought up #3, they just don't "get it".
a dev told me that wound healing is affected by healing efficiency instead of cure efficiency as I previously thought. I then pointed out that previously doc-related tissues are for SC, and if they have plans to either rethink the mod for wound healing (since I understand anyone can heal now, and that healing efficiency should be considered a combat mod), or allow healing efficiency to go into SC. I think he understood my question, I didn't get an answer but I think I got the issue across
I know someone else asked about expanding the amount of items that accept RFP or relax the restriction for BE tissues into specific cloths, and the devs said when they first developed the schematics for clothing they didn't keep in mind of what BE tisses can go into what item. they said they will look into expanding the number of items that accept RFP.

It would really take a dev who is experienced in tailoring to know what you are talking about. With the devs focussing on their part of the game and probably not many actually playing tailors I doubt that most even know that different mods go into different types of cloth. I just hope I can get the issue to someone who understands the problem.

no problem, I just wish I had gotten actual answers rather than canned brush-offs.
1) correspondents- I thought that was what I was doing, I seriously did not see that the questions had already been anwered.
I know
Not sure why others got all uptight about it.
3) fan fest (or other functions that the devs attend)- Hun I live in Ohio and so far all the fan fests have taken place in california, I can not afford to fly to California for a fanfest. I would love to go, just not financially feasible right now.
They actually had that breakfast in Indianapolis for you midwesterners. hopefully they'll do more like that.
Well thank you very much for trying anyway my friend
