hi guys , as a novice tailor i was pleased to see someone had sorted a macro out for grinding tailor. However for some strange reason i cant get the macro to work. The main problem is the macro isnt selecting the crafting tool and i was wondering if you guys could plz help, is there something ive missed or am forgetting? im really not sure. here is the macro im using :-
/ui action toolbarSlot 12;
/sel 50;
/pause 4;
/next;
/next;
/createPrototype practice no item;
/createPrototype practice no item;
/pause 2;
this macro is used for every crafting tool i have (8) in all ive followed the instructions to the letter and im not stood by a crafting centre. also im changing the toolslot number to match the intended tool, but for some reason its not selecting the tool as its supposed to.I know that i have to manually put in the ingredients myself, but as i said above the macro isnt selecting and starting the crafting tool atall plz plz help im very confused and annoyed that its not working. PLZ help a newbie tailor to get started

The number changes when you logoff, change shuttles, etc - the schems reorder every time you gain a box, but the reordering will not "take effect" until you logoff, shuttle, etc. Very annoying. And since schematics are ordered alphabetically, it's hard to tell when you are close by trial and error. The best thing to do is to note which other schematics are granted in the same box as the item you're trying to grind. For example, ribbed shirts are granted in novice tailor. So if I try a schematic number and I get thin striped pants I know I must be close. I did grind tailor after they reordered the schematics to the alphabetical version, and it is QUITE annoying.
Also the presence of a crafting station will affect your schematic number because you have access to more schematics in front of a crafting station, so that will make your numbers different. The presence of a crafting station will also make it necessary to put an extra /next in your macro to bypass the extra screen that gives you the option to create prototype or create manufacturing schematic.

another thing with this macro is that for some reason the shemtic number changes quite frequently eg for the first 15 minutes it was /sel 50 now /sel 50 is something completley different why is this? its quite confusing as to why the number has changed because ive had no training or anything so why is this happening??
