Thread: Hmm...I need help
Well...
It varies greatly by server
BUT
in our stickies you will find down at section #15 some info you would like
including this link which talks about 'what to stock'
If people would actually visit the forums, raher then treat them as a oracle tool, most everyone would be stuffed full of knowledge instead of questions.
I am not against anyone asking questions, but I am ever so rabid about those who will take the time to post
without even checking the FAQs Stickies or even the posting page for like threads before they begin a new topic.
Most all professional forums have excellent community worked on and defined Stickies.
Practically anything you need to know is there if you look {you implied as anyone, not personally}
Don't be shy to join in here, it is what the forums are for
but do keep in mind there is nothing new under the sun..nor on the forums ![]()
All the following information is taken solely from my own experience as a tailor. Other tailors my exprerience things differently, so take it all with a grain of salt.
I can tell you what is selling well right now on Bloodfin. I run my business mainly from vendors which I keep stocked at around 4000 items. I make crates of the items that sell best, so this is what I will list. Well, I might lista few other things too...Also, on bit of advice: even if an item can be made in multiple colors, you don't have to make it in multiple colors. Some multiple-colored items look great (and sell great) in a solid colors. As for what colors sell best, you got it, black *sigh*. But I do cater to all, whether they want black or other colors (I stock tons and tons of colors, but the black items seem tokeep me in business, mostly). Other popular colors: red, white, pink, browns, gray, green (in that approximate order for my business).
Here is a list of my crated items (bestsellers) all in BLACK:
Cloak (Hood Up)
Cloak
Paramilitary Camos (yes, solidblack)
Leather Gloves
Uniform Boots
Hide Boots
Link-Steel Reinforced Gloves
Gunman's Duster
I make these items in crates because it drove me crazy hand-crafting them all the time; they sell very well. Other good sellers:
Any items made in Black and Red (I use the last red in the 255-color palette)
Formfitting Shirts (Black, Red, Black/Red)
Soft Undershirts (Black, Black/Red, Red)
Flex-form Shirt (Black, Black/Red, Red)
All the women's "short" shirts (aka: bikinis, low-cut & revealing tops, bustiers) and skirts (especially: Extremely Revealing, Fashionably Pleated): Black, Red, Black/Red, Black/Silver, Black/Gold, PINKS!, white, purple, blues, and other colors
All Skirts: Solid Black, Black/Red, Red, White/Black, Brown/Tan, Gray/Black, Lt. Pink/Dk. Pink, Green/Black, Purple/Black, and other colors
Thin Striped Pants: Black with Red Stripe, Red with Black Stripe, Brown with Tan Stripe
Pantaloons: Black, White, Red
Comfortable Pants: Black and lots of other colors, surprisingly
Other pants: black, of course, red, white, throw in somebrowns, greens (don't forget the Olive shade), grays, pinks
Other shirts: see Other pants above
Boots/Gloves: Black, White, Black/White, Brown (for gloves, red when available)
Well, there's some kind of a list...forgive me: It's 5:30 a.m. my time, and I have insomnia, so it may not be terribly clear. I don't like to generalize about males and females, but I will about my sales.
Men seem to buy things in: Black, Black/Red, Red, White, Browns, Greens, Grays, sometimes OrangeorPurple
Women seem to buy things in: Black, Black/Red, Red, Pink, Purple, Blue, Green, White (don't forget pale blue, pale purple, and some other pale colors)
Hope that helps with some current information. If my brain were functioning properly, it would be more coherent, but, hey, the sun is just coming up...
Keep those scissors sharp,
