Thread: Bugs I just posted

I just posted this in the correspondent's forum and I thought everyone would like to know what I reported. The thread was specifically about Pub. 18 bugs but I put our Pub. 17 bug in there too for good measure.







1) It is impossible to create BE modded clothing right now



  • If you make synthetic cloth or reinforced fiber panels and put a BE tissue in the enhancement slot the BE mods do not transfer to the cloth and just ordinary cloth is produced. This step is the first tailor step to making BE clothing and does not work at all.

  • If you have BE enhanced cloth made using the method above from before Pub. 18 and you use this cloth to make clothing the mods from the cloth do not transfer to the clothes. This is the second and final step to making BE clothing.

2) Themepark Schematics are no longer produced with mods



  • The limited use schematics that you get from the Jabba's, Imperial and Rebel themeparks are supposed to produce clothing that has skillmods built in. It is the main point of these schematics since with the exception of the crafters aprons they look identical to ordinary clothing. After Pub. 18 clothing made with these schematics have no skill mods.

3) This is actually a Pub. 17 bug, but clothing (and armor) pulled from factory crates reverts back to their original colors or sometimes random colors.

Well look at it this way... adding ranged & melee defense, and whatever you were going to add into the Doctor's dress (medical augmentation I assume)will do every bit as much for them today (i.e. nothing) as it did for them yesterday The only real problem is that we no longer have the plecebo in effect.

They introduce bugs with a major publish.
They ignore those bugs and shove another buggy publish out the door.

WOW, what a professional group of programmers and QA staff they have a SOE.

HA! I'm pretty sure SOE has no idea what a QA department is. They've proven they don't have any type of CS department.

I tried to tell folks that the RD/MD stuff didn't work.....but they don't listen. I didn't know the Cure Efficiency/Augment Efficiency didn't work, I got my first crate of them last night before I went to bed

Not only do the mods not work, but the medicines that are supposed to boost the efficiency also do not work.


*sigh* And I was so pissed off I stormed out of the house and picked up a pack of cigarettes today....

I'll admit that I'm a little frustrated at this point. I'd stopped selling BE clothing because of the terribly-inflated prices BE's were asking for the tissues, but I just bought 1mil worth of BE tissues to make clothes for friends and guildies. I wasted several tissues testing out the paramaters of this bug before I finally gave up.


I'm tired of things not working as intended. Tired of getting CS tickets back telling me my problems are a 'known issue'. <insert lots of stuff here about disillusionment and frustration>


I just want things to work when they're supposed to. For my crafter's pants to not come out pink, for my BE clothes to show their inteded mods, for those mods to actually work. I'm starting to wonder... is this really too much to ask?!?


I've been a loyal fan of SWG for a year and a half. I'm starting to lose faith.

If they even acknowledge these as anything other than "working as intended" .... I'll eat my hawtpants.

I'm getting more than a bit cheesed off by this. First the colour bug which has been ongoing for 3+ weeks now. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE! now the BE and themepark schem bugs.. jeez are the dev's trying to kick us while we are down? Armoursmiths have even more bugs than that but have the same result. Both professions are ground to a halt cause we cant do anything more than hand craft the very basic of our items. And seeing as i have 5 vendors to fill.. thats not about to happen now is it.

I came back after being gone for 8ish months to give the CU a chance.. and found i loved the combat.. but it seems the crafters now are getting it up the rear end and i'm bloody sick of it. This needs to be fixed with a hot fix NOW not tomorrow.. not next week.. not with the next publish.. but now. this is affecting to many ppl to ignore.

Thank you gyopi for bringing yet another thread to thier attention.. the sad part is they havent yet bothered with the other threads u've left for them and I'm not exactly holding my breath for them to care to fix these issues. respec anyone....

Between all this and the crap EQ1 expansion coming out... makes one wonder...
