Heya guys and gals.

Just popping my head round the Tailor forum door for a bit of outfit advice from the pros.

I need a bit of advice about outfits to go with cybernetic arms. I'm going to get a left cybernetic arm, probably the rez one, as it fits well with my character's story. She is a female (clue was in the she ) and is human. Ideally I'd have it covered with just the hand showing but as that seems impossible I'm going to need to throw out my old outfits.

She is a rebel who is going for jedi and as part of her story she gets tempted by the darkside however she remains true to the rebel cause. Therefore a slightly boyish or "evil" looking outfit might be preferable. She has short dark brown hair, is slim and of short to medium height.

And if anybody cares I'm a male playing a female char. My main is male but I've built up such a story with Nevaeh that I enjoy playing her more, I guess you could say she is my main now

Anyway, enough of my ramblings.

Thanks in advance for any advice. I'll try and post a screenie of her tomorrow or something.

I was under the impression that all shirts work with cybernetic arms. Do the longsleeve shirts just "cut off" that one sleeve automatically?

I had a cybernetic arm.. once. I got it fixed immediately. Yech.

as someone who snagged a mechalimb as soon as she could {revive one as well}

I will say I am in love with the Revealing Bikini Top, its asymetrical perfectly for a left arm limb

and Padded Workpants, Slacks, or Thin Pleated Skirt

For an overall look I play up the metal.

Don't forget you can still wear bracelets!

I have a Metal Band on mine.

If you do the metal to macth, it is blue not silver for coloring

Yes they work with all shirts, but that is not to say all shirts look good that way

Speaking to a guildie yesterday he said that alot of items he tried to wear just said "this slot is occupied" however from what jahlad has said it sounds like it might just be the jackets you can't wear.

I'll have to do the quests to get the arm and try it out I guess. Biggest problem now is worrying about the decay on it. I've heard you cannot insure it which would lead me to believe you can't ADK it either

I like alot of ani_cui's idea. I get the feeling I could be mastering tailor soon. As they say,If you want a job done properly do it yourself

Yeah you can wear any shirt you want, no jackets , no bodysuits, no dresses..etc..

Think of the arm as wearing compo bracer and bicep...basically..what cannot be worn with them, will not be worn with arm.

Not that's extremely useful. In that case I think one of my two favourite outfits will be alright Shame about my maidens dress though, love wearing that.

The rusty ones look awful but I quite like the look of the strength buff arm. If it looks cack I'll just get rid of it. The pics of you using force lightning have really made me want to dabble powers now but it'd mean giving up channel force.
