On this day in 2003, I spent the last of my 135,000 credits at the Doaba Guerfel Tailor Trainer and received the title of Master Tailor.
I've never dropped that skill, I'm still using my first factory, and I still have a Tailor shop where I'm still using Nivea's price list (though I mostly sell crates nowadays).
I've put some some of my favorite Stories and Pictures up on my website. I didn't have time to do much, and it only has one Tailor related story, but feel free to bring my server to its knees anyway.
While I don't post much (as you can tell from my stats), I do read a lot and the people here have been very helpful. Thank you all very much! Hurray for Tailors!

Nearly the same here
Same factory, using the same pricelist! I've had some great times.
One year after mastering Tailor..our vendors aregoing to be nerfed hooray. So much for crafting.
One year from today.. I'll probably be in WoW.

Congrats Alcen!
In your time as a master I have run the tailor gauntlet almost 3 full times. I admire your dedication and longevity.

Congrats for sticking it out! It's been a fun trip. Wishing you had any colors other than black/gray/white and brown/tan, sitting by the factory /yelling "Keep it down, some of us are trying to grind!" when groups would come by doing missions, making tons of money on the Bazaar selling Wookiee clothes (my biggest seller back in those days), wondering if I should lower my prices...
As far as the Merchant fix goes: even I usually have more than 110 clothing items on my clothing vendor, so as it stands the vendor change will hurt. I'm looking at scaling back to just SCs, RFPs, and Trim if the limits aren't upped. (My vendor's near New Newbieville...err...Mos Eisely, so I do a lot of business in crates to up and coming crafters.)
However, I know that Merchant's been broken for a very long time, and I'm glad they're finally making the changes. I just hope that we get a bit higher limits. (I could work with 400-660 if I could put any number of itmes on 1 vendor.)
WoW hasn't really excited me. I don't really look forward to starting over without a group of friends. (A bunch of us started together when Intrepid went live.)

Thanks for the compliments, and congrats to you for all of that grinding!
I held on to Tailor while while doing all of the other Artisan classes, and it was a PITA. I could never have done any of the other classes without the macros. I did all of Tailor without them, and my wrist hurt for a couple days after I decided to super-grind the last few boxes to Master. Bad idea, but at that point two others (Mokilok and Ne'la) had already made it and I didn't want to be behind for too long. (Stubborn me.
