Do Doc's just not know about clothing mods not stacking higher than +25?
Routinely I used to get Doc's buying Sunguards and Robes, both with +25 Inj/Wound Treatment, giving them +50 of this mod. Now we all know that although it will show up as +50 in your skill mods that in fact it acts the same as +25. It didn't bother me at first, but now EVERY doc who comes to my store buys a robe, a sunguard and some pants.
I write them mails saying that mods don't stack over +25 blah blah, feel free to offer back some items to my vendor, they never do
I put an itemclothing on my vendor andname it"Doc's only need one +25 item".
The past two days I've logged on in the morning to see that thenight before some Doc has bought three +25 items.
I just don't get their logic. If mods stacked higher than +25 thenthere would be such a thing as 13 point AS, WS, Architects, and evenDoc.
I then put 3 items of clothing called "Docs - Seriously you're wasting your money buying more than one +25 item",
and "Docs - Mods don't stack higher than +25 only buy one item please". The same thing happens -a Doc buys a +75 outfit
I can understand people buying two different types of robes or two different pairs of pants, it must get boring buffing in the same outfit, but Doc's seem determined to get get as much Inj/Wound Treatment as possible.
It just annoys me because it means I have to restock more often I guess, but it's alsofrustrating to have someone needlesslybuying you stock - the money doesn't really matter any more to me, it's about having a well stocked vendor.

Well, I put all sorts of low level BE'd things on my vendor to let them know that I CAN make BE'd clothing but I usually do not put high level items because I get soooo many emails wanting custom BE'd wear that It would be a waste of tissues for me to just make a whole bunch of stuff in colors no one will buy. But at least if they see I have some on my vendor they will usually take the time to write a custom order. At that point I tell them that +25 is the best they can do and they accept that.

For quite awhile it seemed to make a difference if you went above +25, but that was fixed a long time ago. Still, a lot of doctors don't know that it doesn't matter. Usually if they haven't bought the item yet and you explain it, they won't buy it, but otherwise they probably won't worry about it. After all, that way they can have an option of what to wear and to tell the truth, most of the doctors I know have more money than they really know what to do with. Its not really worth their time to go all the way back to the vendor and re-offer it for something that costs so little.

Ok I can tell you why I bought multiple +25 med be clothes when I was doc. Put one item in the droid, one in the pack, and one in the inventory. That way I could grab any one of them and wham max out what I needed, just gave me more options that way.

i have a friend doc who has tons of +25 items.... almost for the same reason as lunah.... he has them so he can have one in every important place... one in droid, on in inventory, bank, and he has houses on almost every houseable planet... so if he forgot it, or something happened to one, he could easily grab another.
his theory now also is with the clothes decay coming back , he wants to have a good stock before the prices go up again.,.. and well i don't blame him.

I have people buying up nearly my entire stock of +25 doc clothing in a run at times. Almost makes me think they're reselling, but then I think about it and figure maybe they just want extras for reasons like were listed above.

yeah i guess... I didn't think about the reasons above but still.... the ammount of times a Doc will come into my shop and say "you've got sunguards, robes and pants, but i'll be needing a +25 shirt as well"

SO you are complaining they are buying too much?
That is funny.
Just raise your prices, they will buy less and you will make more money for your time when they do buy.
I sell most good +25 medical items for 40k and they still sell out. and a good +25 shirt runs for 90k and they too sell out in a week or so. Of course that is on Bria.
Sure other people will sell for less but when they sell out people will come to your well stocked vendor and you will clean up.
I sell entertainer stuff for about the same although if entertainers had money I wouldraise my prices more as those tissues are hard to come by because of all the eggs.

Hiya, Doc here =)
It's about style =P
I've bought 3-4 +25's from one vendor simply because they were items that would go with other clothing I already have.
Infact, I was just wondering... Can the mod attachments be added to already existing items? Like I have a duster with 4 sockets available... can it be made into a +25 Inj/wnd item? Or is that something done in the process of creating the item?
Thank you for your services by the way =)
Its added at the time of crafting. We buy crates of +15-+17 Injury/Wound Treatment tissues from BE's, then run them through our factory to create Synth cloth with the enhancement that ultimatley goes into the clothes.

Some docs don't know. Some have heard about it and take the "better safe than sorry" approach. Back when I was a noob, I bought +100 worth of doc mod clothing. It's a learning process.

It's not that funny
Like I said money's not an issue.. I have more credits than I'll ever need and my combat alt never goes wanting for anything. What's more importantfor me is thatmy vendor isaswell stocked as it can be.
I just find the logic funnier than anything.. if +75 suits really worked then you'd see 17 point smiths ![]()

Its just like there is no sense in putting a wound healing 1 clothing attachment in a garment already fitted with Wound healing Dance/Music components, for example. I could be wrong but that wouldn't stack either would it? And as far as I know the combat mods in tissues do not stack either.
WhatI dislike is if theyorder like multiple numbers of +25 items, and they openly say that they intend to resell them. Maybe from nowI should stop being generous by charging well under the general market value for +25 items and sell them for what they are actually worth
