Thread: Any idea when 0/xxxx items will no longer work?

I know its been a priority for tailors, just wondering if you have had any word on when this will be fixed.

They will be fixing it in the upcoming patch I believe....I read it somewhere....forget where though

Last I heard we had no definitive timeframe. I'msure when it gets pushed to test, we'll hear about it from NJ

It seems as if they are still equippable on TC (tested over weekend). I don't have one with mods to test whether the mods still work. This was slated to be fixed in pub 10, and I'm looking into it, but I suspect that it will get fixed in 10.2 or something, because usually the correspondent issues get attention in the minipublishes.

I have a question about that. While many of my clothes have 0/whatever... I once decided to try and repair the one jacket I thought looked cool. It failed and a message said my Jacket fell apart. Well actually my jacket did not fall apart. Instead my jacket was set to 1/1 and will no longer decay. Is this a glitch? All my o/xxx items appear red in my inventory but my jacket does not.
Just wondered what was up with that.

Wait a sec.. what about things that don't have condition? I have a Marabi Armorweave Belt that I put a very good rifle speed attachment on. It doesn't have condition at all and shows with a red box in my inventory (these belts are bugged, they don't have a Condition stat in the examine window). What would happen to those? This change would break their only use.

Back a month ago on TC we were asked to report which items were turning up red that should not be, so I'm pretty sure the devs have taken this into account. Perhaps that is why the 0/xxx tailored items have not yet been disabled.

Thanks NJ! I'd be quite cranky if my belt was nerfed. It cost me a fortune.

When I asked the question/submitted the top 5, I included the 1/1 issue as well (i.e. a failed repair should NOT be equippable).

/nod The same thing was happening with Ubese shirts as they have no 'condition' either. Along those lines I should point out that on Ahazi, my tailor has crafting tools in the hoykeys. Sometimes I'll arrive in a city and one of the tools will show up with a red background but only on the hot key and not in the inventory, but after trying is still usable for crafting. Then arriving in another city, it goes away. Nothing really major, just scared me because all my clothing tools are 15.00 rating crafting tools
