Thread: The amazing shrinking crafting menu!

Sometimes when I go to create certain things they're not listed in my makeable items display on my crafting tool. Then a week or so later I'm able to make them for a day or two, usually after a publish update, before they disappear again. Most annoying when trying to make Military Travel Packs with a 4/4/4/4 artisan - 0/1/1/1 tailor and not having the blasted thing show up. And yes, it is listed on mydatapad.
Things that like not to be made:
Military Travel Pack
Tech Pack
Reinforced Jacket
Cold WeatherJacket
Striped Pendant (a personal quickest seller when made)
Plated Necklace
Sleeveless Dress
Uniform Boots

some items need you to stand next to a crafting station to apprear in that menu, I'm quite new to tailoring (even tho I'm a WS since a while ago) but it seems that at least some of the items you mentionned require to stand next to a station, cause I always hangout with my station droid and I think I can make all of those at will...

Its slightly more complicated than that. Many tailor clothes require a crafting station to be nearby if you want to craft them, but there are a few items that actually require a private crafting station. In those cases the ones you find in towns are not good enough and you need to find one in a house, or use a crafting droid.

oh, i never use the public ones, I have a droid when I'm out and a FR45 one at home (even tho I know it doesn't make a difference, just wanted to have all FR45 stations 
)

Yep, any crafting errors like this are usually due to not being next to a private crafting station, I've had it happen to my weaponsmith a few times.
