hi guys, just wanted to let yall know that I'll reach master later today, I always wanted to craft clothing but as we had a very good shop on eclipse I always thought it'd have been useless, now that the shop seems to become out of business, I decided to start crafting my own stuff then start grinding along tailor skill tree (and I had enough skill points left too
)
as I did that the "grind way", as it's really fast and easy, to get to access to all the schematics, I don't know much about tailoring, so if any of you would give me some advices about what to make/sell and what is bugged, that'd be cool.
thanx alot.
EDIT:
just made it, started yesterday, did master today, without hardcore playing, I did some macro while watching movies and did it within 3 movies and a few minutes, fast grind, now Imma get started too see how it works

If you need some advice from an old tailor, look for Chyrina online.
Good to see some new tailors coming in, since most of the ones I started with/learned from have left recently.

I'm going for tailor on Eclipse too, though it might be some time before I join your ranks because of my snail's-pace "grinding"

I seem to be always looking for assistants, especially if the vendor nerf goes through.
an assistant to me means you make the stuff i'm tired of making, and hopefully you put it on your own vendor in my shop, or i supply you with resources and you get the xp.

yeap I'm gonna try to fill my own vendors first, then I might look here and there for a mall...
there's nothing better than make my own clothes !

Welcome to tailoring!
It's hard to find someone so enthusiastic about becoming one these days, but you seem like you enjoy fashion and that's the most important part. You'll pick up a lot of things quickly as you experiment with making different pieces of clothing. You can also look through this site that Tiaga put together and familiarize yourself with the different items.

Congrats - I haven't started the grind myself - but will be as soon as I get done ID.... I've recently had a career change on my alt and tailor is going to be one of them.... I can't help it I'm a clothes nut on both characters. hehe
I would love to know how you did it so fast... Thanks

Grats Aki
And here i thought Tailor was a dying profession. You are the fifth (!) new master tailor in the past 2 weeks on Eclipse i have heard of.
Mind if i send people over to you, when i'm too busy?
