Thread: Have They Ever said Why we don't have the metal bikini skirt?

Just wondering. It's in there ... a Bothan is wearing it with a mismatched sports wrap ... why is it not craftable? They must have some reason for that.

as far as I can tell there's no word on why we can't make them... same goes for the "robe" with the metal plating on the front, the umpire-like vestand the newbie vest that scouts get. We can't make those either.
-Still, they are all in game worn by NPC's here and there.
Do we want answers? Yes we do!
Will we get them? Probably not.

probably for a similar reason that architects can only make potted plant style 1, and not styles 2, 3, and 4 .....
they never got round to putting them in 
These are ideal opportunities for the Devs to add a little something to a profession without too much effort or chance of adding extra bugs - the 'skins' are there, the rest of the code for crafting is there ......
an obvious "quick-win" for them if they so choose.

There is no reason why we can't craft a lot of the loot clothes, except that they never bothered giving us the schematics. Leia's slave skirt, on the other hand, doesn't really seem to exist in the game. It only shows up in the art for female bothan NPCs, and they all have exactly the same body type. As far as I know, the skirt could be part of the NPC's skin!
