Does the tailor's crafter's apron do anything for a Master Tailor? Do the other Aprons possitively affect their respective professions at the master level?

I'm confused. Please help! How do these aprons affect master's at their professions, especially tailors?

Thank you!

Tailors crafting apron...Hmmm what's the point of it really..

Well you can have pride in your profession and proclaim I want one and wear it as other professions do,

You can display it as a badge saying yup thats mine

Or you can take it as a start on a +25 crafting outfit even if the stats are not really usefull.

Break down:

Experimentation on clothing, only useful for crafting Wookiee Armor Padding for Armorsmiths, but you would need +10 to get the extra experiment point anyways.

Repair for clothing, not only broken but worthless as clothing only decays on clone by % and can be worn not only at 0 and 1/1 cond but at Neg condition as well

Assembly for clothing, here's the kicker...It was determined appeartently being Master was not enough to get four sockets regular like, so Assembly was brought into play, the more assembly you have, the better the chances of getting 3 and 4 sockets on end product..or so the theory goes.

So it does not hurt to have and wear does not change much if it hangs on the wall

{note: some of us, took it as a start, I would rather have my +25 suit made now and it worthless, then ry and scramble for one in the furture if they work}

What Ani'cul said

This goes for any crafting profession.

As a master (insert your crafting profession here), i have 100 experimenation pts, which gives me 10 boxes to experiment with.

With the addition of a +10 experimentation attachment, I would then have 11 boxes to experiment with.

The max you can hit is 125, whichonly gives you 12 experimentation boxes (1box/10pts).

It doesn't matter how many attachments you have, as long as you hit +20, u will get the 2 additional boxes. You could have something like..

+3 clothing exp Boots

+10 clothing exp Pants

+1 clothing exp Belt

+4 clothing exp shirt

+2 clothing exp duster.

= 20 exp pts = 12pt tailor

Remember not to put the same attachment mod in the same piece of clothing, the higher one will take. If you already have a +3 clothing exp boots, adding a +4 to it, will make it +4 not +7. (you just wasted the attachment)

Repair for all of us is broken.. armor, weapon, tailor... a combat player can repair a weapon just as good as a master weaponsmith.

If you have the credits, why not get a +25 suit (+25 exp/repair/assembly). Tailor is by FAR the cheapest to get, most people probably delete those attachments.

This is coming from a 12pt Armorsmith and 12pt Tailor. My armorsmith suit cost around 40 mil (on sunrunner) and my tailor suit cost around 3 million credits..

I've been told that when I'm wearing my apron I look like I'm in 'crafting-mode' and I do get more on the spot requests when I'm wearing it compared to when I'm not LoL The amusing thing is I never wear my master tailor title now, but I often get stopped by people I've never met before

before they took out crit fails, if I griped in guildchat about crit failing on something my best friend would always yell at me to put on my apron. I don't think i've worn it since they took those out.

You all are awesome! I love the tailor community and I appreciate all of your replies. I've now got the schematic and am going to make it for myself whether or not it will be useful to me. I'll just take pride in owning it, and wear it when I craft. Thanks, y'all!
