Hello fellow Tailors.
I have just recently re-activated my Master Tailor account on Corbantis, after being away from the game for quite a while. I have a load of resources stored but no idea what they all cost. Most are given to me by guild members or bought at very low cost.
I'm setting up a new boutique and will be using the 'SWG :: Tailor Tool' to help me in pricing items (the one posted in the sticky). I have no idea what to charge for items. Could you guys give me an idea of how much to charge per unit for resorces, componantsetc ?
Is the tool a good one to use ?
Any help on pricing items would be great. I don't want to rip people of but also don't want to be to cheap.
Cheers

I'd recommend shopping around. See what other tailors on your server are selling their wares for and take a look at the going rates on resources... with the galaxy wide vendor search this should be a lot easier than it used to be. The economies on all the servers can vary so I'd say that's the best way to truly judge value. Remember that with tailor resources quality doesn't matter generally so you can use the cheapest of any given type.

Definatly go browse locals.
Even within a server planets have their own base prices sometimes.
And you know what?
Above all price the way YOU WANT wether it seems low or high,
it is YOUR business to run it that way.

Its so very true that each server how their own priceing. Recently I have been looking into this just for fun. Certain items that are in high demand you can also charge higher prices on is what I have found.
