oh, we Rangers did not succumb to anything. After further investigation, we have discovered that Calc was indeed a double-agent, and his true alliegence apparently was on the side of the Tailors, and not the Rangers. But now we have Owen as our fearless leader.

No more scantily-clad Leezard leaders for us.
