Thread: So, why do all you tailors always make all BE clothes solid black?

Because if I make a hot pink, 4 socketed shirt, it'll sit there on the vendor forever. But if I make a 4 socketed shirt in black and then take it to my factory and make more, they fly off the vendors. Go figure.

I make them in lots of colours, but i only do the factory runs of 4 socket items in black. Because it is easy to match with other clothes. Only problem on my server is not everyone likes black (as opposed to Valcyn where black was like the universal combat uniform, along with red) And it gets a bit frustrating where everyone constantly asks for 4 socket orders in outfits they want to wear.

One reason i stopped stocking BEWEAR, i make it on order and by request.
I don't like factory producing clothing like that,
jewelery sure
accesories oh yeah I could never have enough sandles
but BE clothes..I perfer to tailor that to the individual.
More then likely you have quite a few Tailor on your server who would be willing to help you out via a Email or conversation taken order.

I always made Be clothing in different colors. Of course I had black and white but other colors were selling just as well. Melee/stun defense formfiting undershirt or lined workshirt in light blue, yellow, pink, red....... whichever color looked to me nice at the time.

I try to keep my BE vendors as colourful as the rest, but for every non-black item I sell at least 2 black ones go. I tend to do 4-socket factory runs of most items in black but keep as many non-black 4-socket items as I can get out of my crafting tool

Check out the tailor list on top for Eclipse tailors...
but I like making stuff in other colors... and wasting syn cloth too... I know its wrong but... I had a doc twi'lek friend always complained that he couldn't wear the BE sunguards...

The worst part about the black shirts is that they're not going to be seen beneath their composite anyway, so why is it so important that it's black?

*raise hand* Eclipse tailor here (usually online aroun 730pm EST)
I have very few BE clothes on my vendor, usually is items that were ordered and never picked up - I prefer to make it to order - however, I don't guarantee sockets.
shoot me an ingame mail and I will send you my informational pamphlets on BE clothes
and I will VERY HAPPILY make it in any other color than black!!!

Tell that to "Teh Kombat folkzzzzzz!!!1!" that buy up tons of BE clothes.
