I was thinking. Tailors should be able to craft hats and headwearbesides the ones already in the game.
here is what i would like to see.
- cowboy hats
- British caps
- hats that cops wear
- visors hats (option to wear upside down)
- baseball caps (options to wear backwards)
- ski masks (for terrorising cities)
- Army issued helmets
- old school football helmets
I think this would bring a lil more diversity to a tailors crafting i think.
I am not a tailor but i think these items would be cool and a laugh to look at.
A bad hair is a good hat day.
any thoughts?

Uh....while I agree that more hats and headware are needed, I'm fairly certain (now correct me if I'm wrong because I've only seen the movies a couple bajillion times) that there are no baseball caps, nor football helmets in the star wars universe.

Of those, the only ones I'd like to see are cowboy hats and Ski masks... I get a lot of requests for ski masks with infiltrator/tactical suits. Wannabe ninjas, bleh

Yes more choices would be great to up the diversity scale...but well as somone mentioned above, they really don't exist in the films...but then again we never saw the Bothan Dimplomats either... so maybe they will add more. . :-) Let's all hope.

Someone suggested (and this sounds plausible to me) that the relative lack of hats probably has a lot to do with scaling and graphics issues making them especially difficult to do. Having, say, a baseball cap seems simple enough, but making it work on Humans *and* Mon Calamari *and* Trandoshans, etc. isn't so easy.
I suspect that's why most (maybe all?) of the headgear is "all-encompassing" - covering not just the top of the head, but usually the whole skull.
