I've read that this item is supposed to be the bikini Leia wore at Jabba's. However, all the pictures I've seen so far have a bikini top with these horrendous, puffy translucent leg things that make everyone look like they're Thunderthighs.

In the screenshots area of the main SWG page, there's a picture (I would assume it's a composite of actual screenshots since it's in the Screenshot area and all) of a human female wearing Leia's bikini, with the bottom looking like it did in the movie. Did this artwork not make it into the live game? I'm curiousif anyone knows the story behind it, as that look is a whole lot better than what I've seen thus far in game. (It's entirely possible that I've just never really seen the metal bikini and it DOES look like that, in which case you can all giggle at me while smirking smugly...or something

I think what you're seeing is the 'exotic leotard"... but it's definetly not the Bikini top.

It does exist in game, I know of 2 people I play with who have them.... just keep looking.

No, the exotic leotard doesn't make people look like they're carrying an extra 50 lbs in weight solely on their thighs

Nivea's listing doesn't have an item that looks like the screenshot-all I ever see (when I do see something other than a flesh wrap) are bikini leggings. No bikini bottom with the little loincloth.

The ones you saw with the poofy legging things are called Bikini Leggings.

The 'Leia slave' bikini is the Metal Bikini. From what I can tell, it's just the top, and you have to make the bottoms out of hot pants or something, according to the schematic.

I haven't actually made one yet, I'm still running around collecting all the totally weird resources I need for half of the master items.

There is no leggings otehr then the poofy ones. I HAVE seen NPC's wearing the skirt she wore (chain on the sides) but it is not tailorable at this time.

I can only think of 2 items that are rare and needed for master items...green diamond and plexite. Those are just for 1 of the hats. Only a couple other boots need specific hides and 2 of the backpacks. Unless you are talking about factory crates....can't think of anything weird needed for master items

Titanium Aluminum and Thoranium Steel....not on all servers yet btw. Those might be tier 4 items...I didn't try to make them til Master tho. In any case, yes Master Tailor will send you scrambling unless you stockpiled everything you need to make your new items. I had a nice post here about what you need when you 'ding' to MT but naturally it got buried

OH...hehe forgot the original topic. The metal bikini looks just like Leia's top if you choose gold as the metal and purple as the undercolor...the skirt is not available. I have a sneaking suspicion that Tailors will see some additions to their repetoire in a few months..which is good cos it will give us something new to do and infuse the economy with new product.

Yeah, the schematic for the metal bikini skirt is missing. It's on the official screenshots and I've even seen a NPC running around wearing the skirt near end of beta, so the artworks are in game.

Thanks a bunch for all the replies! I sincerely hope that the metal bikini bottoms make it in game soon. The top the female rodian is wearing in that screenshot is quite nice too so hopefully they will throw that in along with the non-craftable robe. Those leggings are like 'late nightsoft-core porn meets weight watchers' or something.

I've had green diamond, thoranium steel, titanium alum, and plexite gem stocked in my bank since formal 2/tailor 2 was all I had of the tree. Can you tell I was anxious to make master? Two boxes to go!

Pair 'em with the Metal Bikini or the Revealing Bikini, and you look more like "I Dream of Jeanie" than Princess Leia.
