Hi! Been crafting clothes for my own amusement lately and i decided to get tailoring. Been wondering that does Engineer I-IV affect to cloth creation after I have gotten novice tailor (or better)? Going for ranger/ch as i like run in the wilds and those eats up quite many points.

Engineering does nothing for tailor level items, but it does mean you have a lot of artisan experimentation points and can make very nice powerups

Another thing I realized (in a roundabout fashion) is that Master Artisan might actually be useful, because you can make optional components for Clothing Repair Tools with them. With the current non-decay of regular clothing, this isn't very important yet, but might be in the future. Also, I just got a Personal Shield Generator, which is actually designated as Clothing, not Armor, and those things degrade fast, so good Clothing Repair Tools would be useful to keep them running. (I think - haven't had mine degrade enough that I want to take a chance on trying a repair yet.)

It still helps with fiberplast panels and metal fasteners. Also, you can make your own personal harveseters to gather materials. And for some reason the Rugged Jacket lets me use my Artisan experimentation points.
