I'd like to have a formal outfit for attending functions, going out to the cantina, etc.

What do you folks suggest? Anything I've seen seems feminine. Are there and formal outfits for men?

And it needs to be short since I'm a Bothan at the low end of the height scale.

There are a few formal outfts for men but not as many as there are for women. The "Suit" is a good standby.
The "Suit" consists of a Suit Jacket, Suit Shirt, Suit Belt, Dress Slacks, and Dress Shoes.

You cant see the shirt under the jacket however. But its there for when you take the jacket off.
I have given thought to making a suit with an open fronted jacket sometime too. Not sure how it will work out.

Other than "The Suit" there are a few other jackets to choose from. Though you can turn most items into a formal outfit if you get the coloring right.

I like the smock look myself-- it's the oriental inspiredlong uniform. I've seen doctors wearing white versions and it looks very classy. It isn't the 3 piece suit, but it looks really nice.

But you're right, there aren't many options for male players at the moment.

I figured out a james bond outift the other day =D I'm not sure its smart to give it away hahah.... its my best seller right now! But here goes ^_^

Thing striped pants in black with white stripe - Name them Tuxedo Pants

Sidebutton shirt or formal shirt in White - Name it Tuxedo Shirt

Black mens shoes... one black off blackest, its too dark - Name them Tuxedo Shoes

Suit Belt in Black with White - Tuxedo Belt!

And top it off with a plated metal necklace in the darkest color - Tuxedo Neckwear

Optional Suit Jacket in one step off of black - Tuxedo Coat

The necklace clips through the shirt, and somehow someway from my viewpoint it manages to hint at a bowtie. Get up close and it doesnt really look like a bowtie, but it doesnt look BAD.. It really maks the whole thing work

Looks cute on Bothans too... But makes humans look like James bond =D Dashing!

The smock also works for a more formal look.

I think that the flared jacket and a pair of pants would also work well for male characters, but I haven't done that yet.
