Is this possible, does anyone know? I heard a rumor that I chased halfway across the galaxy (OK, it was only to the next planet) and I never found proof of a 5 socket item. Is 4 the hard limit imposed by the game, or is there someway beyond this barrier?

Any information is appreciated.

I've never made, seen, or heard of an item with more than 4 sockets. 99% of the items I make come with 4 sockets. The last 1% comes with 3. Never 5 though.

Although...since it is the Tailor Expirement line which affects how often you make socketed clothing....perhaps if you were to have a high enough powerup for clothing assembly...perhaps THEN you could make an item with over 4 sockets. Hmmmm, I'll have to check into this when I get ingame.

Any other Masters who have tried this?

Well I've personally never seen an item with more than 4 sockets, in live or in beta. And the most I've even heard about was 4.

Can any of you Master Tailors make 5 sockets?
