At the risk of sounding like a moron I'd really like to know what sockets are, what they do, and how you put them in clothes.

Been hearing alot about them and have people asking for them. But Ijust can't figure it out.

Sockets are created in clothing when they are experimented upon. They allow the user to add in certain power-ups that are found off assorted NPC mobs. These power-ups look like rolls of tape, or if you're familiar with the formal tailoring line, a unit of trim.

The names show up as yellow in your inventory, and will list the number of sockets avaliable on the item.
