Hi.
This question was meant to be about infiltration suits prices that fly at 5k. I was wondering if this is a normal price or not(most have 1 socket only).
Anyway, was also looking through pricing schemes some of you have, and I cant find any scheme that I like. I want to price my clothes based on costumer(if it is face to face trade), and on availablity/sought after level of clothing. All to a certain extent of course. This means that dusters go pretty high, while pants, boots, gloves, headwear etc go normal or below. It's a feel thing really - what do my fellow tailors think about such a chaotic pricing view?

There is a price calculator up at swgtailor.com. I have found it very useful, as you just put in base price per resource, per specific (wooly, titanium alum, etc), multipliers for tiers, etc. It works quite well.
I just hit master and I am wrestling with prices because I feel our server is a little overpriced. Still working out the bugs but going to start going strictly by this formula. I did price gunmans/spec ops at higher due to demand and they helped keep me afloat in my training, but am beginning to think if thats what they want, I will just stock the in demand items and custom make the addons.

I'm doing much the same; there are very few fellow tailors on my planet, so we're pretty much...well, making the economy up as we go.. *grins* But I've been doing just that: popular 'luxury' items like dusters go for 3k and above, whereas themore standard designsof jackets, boots, etc go for a good deal less. It gives folks a chance to try out a variety of different colour schemes, and they'll generally come back for a second and third outfit, before buying one of those schemes in the 'classier' line -- desert command jackets, padded workpants, etc.

I just feel things out. As I gained new levels,I'd set a price I thought was fair on something and watched how it sold for a couple days. Then I either lower or raise the price(random amount) and watch for a few more. I've recently hit master and have the price for most thingsI can craft in my head. I know which things are the good sellers and which are not. I personally don't use any of the price models because they seem low to me. I tend to sell items for more and consistently, so I'll be keeping my personal method for awhile ^_^
