if you just made novice, you should see that the majority of the clothes you can make now have both color 1 and color 2 options (not all).

If you must grind...ribbed shirts seem to be the consensous...147 or so XP each w/practice

I used to make ribbed shirts, but once I got to casual 3, I prefer cloaks. Instead of 60 resources for 147 xp for ribbed shirts, you use 110 resources for 288 xp. Still only two items, but one of them is now hide, so look for cheap hide

Grinding doesn't seem so bad anymore, now that I can get over 1000 xp with 4 items. And now I only have field wear to go!

i havemnt seen color 1 and 2 yet cause i havent been taught it yet. i need to find someone to teach me. and thanx, ill try out ribbed shirts

I was getting arround 170 for tipless gloves, that's what I've been grinding when I feel I have to grind, trying to level as natrual as I can but it's not working out and I'm loosing money so I've been giving into the grind a lot more.

I just became a Novice Tailor. What item can i use to grind so i can make better things?

also, this is a kinda stupid question but for clothes, is there more than Color 1? sometimes all color one does is change the sleeve or something. Is there a way to access color 2?

Well, now that I got to Casual IV I don't feel quite as compelled to grind, but it took Casual III to make any money, before that it was subsistance on tech packs. Ribbed shirts are okay at 147xp for 60 resources, cloaks are better at 288 for 110 resources...Field wear II has a belt that gives 152xp for like 60 resources, but the big plus to me is that it uses a lot of inert petrochem and like 10 metal, and I have tons and tons of extra inert petro thanks to two harvesters on a 90% lub oil. Casual shirts are also okay if you don't have the metal for ribbed, but they're only in the 80-90ish xp range for 40 resources, using inert petro and fiberplast.
