Thread: Camouflage Color Schemes
hey all,
Just got to Field III today and I'm ready to start selling thosespec-ops dusters on the bazaar. My question is, what camouflage coloring schemes sell well? So far I have three schemes: forest camo (green/tan), desert camo (brown/tan), and winter camo (white/black). Have i missed anything obvious? I've put at least two of each on bazaar to see which schemes move, and which don't. I'd love to hear what works for you.
Oh, and puh-leaze do not tell me that n00b camo (black/black)sells thebest =P
While not speakign from experience I have seen a few people wearign black and a red/maroon color quite a bit, I think there is even a rea lworld como set up much like it that is trendy or was popular not logn ago.
Black is a good money maker in any event, coupel that with most anythign and you migth have a good shot at some decent sales ![]()
Lately I have been surprised that my greens have been selling very well, I include Army in the description so it might be that it appeals to a military minded role-player or that it has some appeal otherwise.
Good luck though!
I have the same three groups, Forest, Desert, and a black and white group that I call "Urban", but three subpatterns within each group. I messed around with the colors once I got Field III and then noted down the color palette locations of the top three for each group that I liked so I can reproduce on demand. I think that gives my customers the feeling that they have a little more selection. Also it lets me create matchingpants, shirts, and boots using the same pattern name and the sets sell great on my vendor. I've had referrals come back to me asking for outfits in the same pattern that their friend has and refer to it by my naming scheme. That's its own reward in a way.
My best seller: Urban3. You guessed it: black on black. ![]()
