Thread: Bleed Defense?

Actually I find that since the tissues are borken, that now is the time to buy them. I can get them for cheap and just store them on my vendor till needed.
Tissues are not broken, the stats are on the clothes, the stats are mod'd in the skill window. The extra stats from Clothing does nothing.
I've made and given +entertainer healing clothing I've madeto a number of dancers and I've gotten both "they work amazingly well!' to 'I don't notice any difference' responses.
I've done specific testing with 5 different dancers and got 5 differentreports on how well (or if) they work. I'm not going to charge for them (unless they insist on paying) until I'm SURE they work properly.
What about +bleed defense items? This really isn't a skill. Anyone know if they work?
Before you discount these items as "not working" experiment on them yourself. I have currently found that three of them, for certain, do indeed work.
Bleeding defense, when equipped, will change the "blood hit" icon from red to yellow. You will also receive a flash message that you are protected. If you are wearing enough bleeding defense gear, some hits will not penetrate and many will do little damage and you will not bleed as long.
Second, yes, there is a differenced in music/dance clothing. If you do not believe me, run up 100 battle fatigue, twice. (This requires you to be an entertainer, by the way, bear with me.) The first time, dance or play until you're healed completely and keep track of the time it takes to heal. The second time, equip as much dance/music clothing as possible and do the same. There is approximately a 1% increase per stat addition.
Third, medical stats do work. They do not, I repeat, not, give you any skill you do not currently have. If you can't use stim Cs before you equip them, you won't be able to afterwards. That's silly, no other stat clothing would give you additional schematics, so medical stats aren't going to give you more skills. They will, however, increase your effectiveness. Your heals will be for more on average based upon how much of an increase you have. If you unequip and re-equip the clothing, the stats will not read correctly. This is tied in to the same problem that we all see with the backpacks but we all know that backpacks still reduce weight even though it's not posted properly.
By all means, test this yourselves. These changes may be recent, but I have many, many happy customers and repeat customers that report to me every day. I always offer to buy back items people don't or can't use, and have never had any come back - out of hundreds of pieces.
If you are basing your decisions on the words of a few other people, you're selling yourself short. Get out there and test these things for yourself. I have yet to verify camo, cover or warcry, but have given out free sets to quite a few people to test and am awaiting the results.
Good luck to you and good journeys.
"I'm guessing it's just placebo effect, but it's funny how many people have said that... and there is no way to really prove it without knowing the algorithm for determining camouflage, or trying to hide from the same monster 1000 times naked and clothed.
Someone wanna try it...?
LOL i can see me out there tonight sitting in a rancor herd in my underwear hitting /mask ..
I would have to agree that some BE components are working. I have personally tested the blood defense, and it works. The tensile resistance is also functioning somewhat, from what I can tell, I've stacked 3 articles of clothing to give +12 melee defense, + 42 stun defense and I seriously didn't get stunned and neither did my test subjects.
The MAJOR bug we know of, is what happens when we take of the clothing, your stats become reduced.
