I get lucky patches too. For an hour I might get 4 sockets on nearlyeverything with the odd 3 thrown in for good measure, then I'll be back to getting 0-3 most of the time with the odd 4 socket if I'm lucky.

I also wear a +25 Experimentation/Assembly suit, well it can't hurt can it?

I had a really strange streak the other night where everything was running in "threes".

3 belts, 3 sockets

3 belts, 2 sockets

3 belts, 1 socket

3 belts, 2 sockets

3 belts, 3 sockets

Then back up to 4 sockets.

Prior to that, I was hitting 4 sockets on almost the first try of everything I was making for a friend.

Last night i was trying to make a +17 Healing Efficiency Formfitting Undershirt with 4 sockets.

I burned through an ENTIRE crate of BE'ed RFPs before i got a 4 socket one.

luckily all those other 24 shirts i made anyway, and put on my BE clothing vendor.

everytime there is a publish, or anytime there is a posted patch, reports about 'more/less' 'easier/harder' sockets come in.

This morning I made 12 shirts, 8 of which were four socket ... I rarely have to make more than 3 of somthing to get a four socket for a schematic .... all this while wearing a +25 experimentation/ Assembly clothing suit (not that I'm convinced that that makes a difference ...)

Has anyone else noticed this or am I just really lucky?

It depends on what clothing I make. The low cut top almost always has 4 sockets, and I have made 14 before getting less. However, on the infiltrator leggings I have to craft 8-13 to get a 4 socket. Several things seem to be this way. i.e. leather gloves(mostly 0-2) and link steel gloves(mostly 3-4)

My question is does the socket thing vary by what type of clothing we are crafting?

I also wear +25 clothing, but even when I don't wear it all I don't see a change the amount of sockets.

For me this part is opposite, I almost never get a pair a link steel gloves with more than 2 sockets but I get alot of leather gloves with 3-4 sockets. lol I have +25 in clothing assembly (with some experimentation) and +20 in artisan experimentation/assembly and wearing them all together just does not seem to make a difference for me. Since the CU I have made 3 Decorative vests with 4 sockets. I had gotten on a steak of over 100 before I got 4 sockets, then I got 1 4 socket. I was then able to get 2 more within a few tries and now Im back to no 4 sockets on them in over 150 more vests. Im really beginning to hate decorative vests lol
