Thread: Confused about BE shirts combo's and what works?

Greetings!
I tried digging through your forums for some answers but I only got really confused! It seems you guys/gals have some real bugs to work through. We all get hung up in our own professions and forget what others are dealing with as well!!
I have a couple of crates of +19 Healing Efficiency BE additives. I had a BE make me a schem from the resources I had..#1, #1, #2, and #1 rated resources on my server for the tissues (for the 4 slots). I believe 20 is the cap so I felt these came out pretty good.
I am hoping to hire a Tailor to craft these into shirts for me. I would like to give them as a gift to guildmembers who can use them (have some medic skills and can utilize healing efficiency). The healing efficiency works for bacta shot or other medic/CM stills but not for using stims (my Stim D's hit for the same with and w/o HE mods).
Questions:
1) Can healing efficiency be stacked in a shirt to get a +25. Someone told me maybe Wooly Shirts? I have not seen any +25 shirts on my server so I am guessing this can not be done. But just checking. Only limitation is a shirt that fits under armor.
2) Assuming you can't stack two (for +25) is it possible to use the +19 HE in a shirt and put another stat in that same shirt using a BE additive? If so what other BE options would work for that approach?
3) I have read in your forums that making factory runs of say shirts is bugged? YIKES! So I guess I would need to have these made by hand?
4) If I need to have these made by hand.....does a Master Tailor have a better chance of getting 4 sockets in a clothing article than someone not a Master? This only makes sense to me but figured I better ask. I actually have Novice Tailor with 1 box to make my own Trim for my chef....yet in making backpacks sometimes for instance I get 4 sockets, then the next craft 1 socket. Is this the case for all levels or only because I ama low level? Is this resource dependant?
Sorry for all the questions but I feel in asking players on my server some of these nobody seemed to have a consistant answer. I think the BE clothing is WAY under utilized. For example....my combat toon has been wearing a +16 melee defense/+16 ranged defense shirt. I already have mods w/ my prof's to get roughy 300 in ranged defense and about 250 in melee defense. So does 16 more pts really matter? Yet with Novice Medic at 0040 I can put on a healing efficiency shirt with a +19 rating and greatly improve my healing ability. When I was able to get my HE to +50 in a test session my bacta shot healing increased by +263 pts as well as improved speed. That is huge in combat.
Sorry for the ramble. Thanks for any direction on this. Also, if any Radiant tailor reads this and wants to work with me on making up some shirts I would give you the extra +19 HE BE mods to use as you like. Pluspay you formaking the shirts obviously! Thanks.
Healing efficiency uses a reinforced fiber panel, so no you may not have +25 in one item. With +19 tissues, using 2 to get 25 would be a waste in my opinion anyways. WIth a +19 you have an amazing single tissue. You would require 2 items, such as a shirt and a bandolier to get +25.
There are no shirts that I can think of that would take 2 bonuses, if there was.. the 2nd bonus would have to be augment/cure or taming, as those are the only 2 that can go in a synthetic cloth slot. You can do this with jackets and pants, but not shirts.
Factory runs are bugged depending on the color, from my experience black is working ok...but it's touch and go. There is supposedly a fix for this on test, so you may want to wait until it goes live. But if you don't mind having possible ugly shirts, you can go ahead and let a tailor do a factory run of them.
If they do need to be made by hand, yes a master tailor has a better chance.. but it is still completely random no matter what. But a master tailor supposedly will have a better chance than a non-master. And if you are referring to Travel Packs.. I believe those are an artisan item, so I dont think your little tailoring effects that much.. tho this is greatly up to debate heh.
And dont' feel sorry for all the questions... you can't learn if you don't ask ![]()
2, nope, the three shirts (formfitting undershirt, lined workshirt, reinforced work shirt) that will take Healing Eff do not have any extra slots for any other BE bonuses.
3, yes, the colour on many items is not coming out of the factory as planned. I managed a run of black formfitting undershirts without a problem but other tailors have found even black items are not behaving themselves!
4, yes, master tailors have a greater chance of getting 4 sockets but its still random for masters.
And sorry, I'm on Infinity not Radiant
