Thread: Odd Pricing Observation
Usually i just say pay me what you want and i get a much better price than if the items sat on a vendor, the difference being is i usually travel to the customer and make their specific requirements.
sunrunner is a rich server, more oft then not if you seta reasonable price or say tip what you think it's worth, your gonna get triple of what you exspect.
For BE I do think even lower prices a rare now, but people are appreciating the fact of it being around again,
and a Tailor willingly making it {i kick scream and scratch anyone who asks me for BE
} they will pay all they have to encourage you to do more.

People appreciate that you take the time to do it....
I was in my shop the other day, and a guy asked for 2 custom outfits.. they probably would of cost him anywhere from 8-12k.. and he paid me 50k for each without even asking the price. The guy after him..he tipped me 75k for a 10k outfit. When people ask for something and ask me the price, they always say is that it?! They truly appreciate that you take the time to make them something.
ive noticed that getting colors right... and knowing your pallete options gets you bigger money. when i first started taking custom orders i floundered a bit... and then... as i got better at knowing the colors of items, i can crank out a special order in no time at all and 85% of the time on the very first try.
This sort of "experience" seems to net me big tips as people recognize that i actually took the time to know what im doing... that i took the time to think of somthing a little more creative and really put forth an effort to be the best.
as an aside just to toot my own horn... 7 out of the 8 people who ordered an all black outfit and then agreed to let me run with it and "surprise them" have told me they like their new outfit better than the all black they were ordering! thats 7 of 8 on first attempts. 8 of 8 if given a second chance to wow them
