Ok I have looked all over and need to have a question answered. I'm currently a 0110 tailor and a friend asked me to make a few factory crates of trim. I have tried but don't get the option to make a schematic. Any clues why? Do I need to be Master first or possible some experimintation line?? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

You need to be standing next to a Clothing crafting station. Hope that helps.

Trim is a "formal wear I" should be able to make them.

Figured so. I have tried it infront of a station so no clue what is up. Guess I'll bug it and wait.

Remeber that you have to go through all the creation parts first (adding resources) the second last step asks you if you want to create prototype or draft schematic. As everone mentioned you should be next to a clothing and armor crafting station hope the additional info helps.

Also try using a private crafting station (one in your house) instead of a public one, if you haven't already.

Stand next to a clothing and armor crafting station and use a clothing and armor crafting tool to make trim. At the end (where you would usually be given the option to make the product) you will also be able to make a factory schematic. Remember that sometimes crafting stations have been known to interfere with each other, so make sure you are directly in front of the station!

Got it figured out all. It seems the station I have from pre-cu is no longer working. I went to CNet and had no problems on a public station so it has to be my private one thats broken. Thanks for all the input though. =)

First I ever heard of that one.

Do you have other stations in the same room?

often a station will overwrite another station if they are to close to each other or you are not near enough to the one you want to use.

Try picking up your private station and placing it again, make sure it is not too far into a wall or near one too much. Also I've had issues where I have to be within about 2-3m of my station for the options to appear. I had my station too close to a wall once and noticed some schematics not showing up anymore when I was attempting to craft. A simple /move back 100 worked great, was able to use the station again.

Also, be sure that you're using a Clothing/armor Crafting Tool and not a Generic Tool of some sort.
