Thread: Possible solution for clothing decay (or lack there of)

NOTE: I am not a programmer. I don’t know what is involved in coding things that are implemented in the game. That being said, here is my idea….

The Devs have said that they want all non-decaying items to run off the same code. It seems that clothing is the odd stickler of the bunch. Would it be possible to move clothing into the armor category? Hear me out before you flame.
Why not give all clothing a SLIGHT armor rating. Make it like .5% resists or some miniscule rating that would hardly make a difference (I’m not an expert on how armor works). Then it could decay just like armor does. Maybe add some durability experimentation in there and you’re done. Again, the resists should be NEXT TO NOTHING. I do not want regular clothing to replace armor in any way. From my limited knowledge, I don’t think this would be difficult to code, but like I said before, I’m not a programmer.

To fix this problem, we need ideas. Not petitions and strikes. Anyone else out there got comments/concerns/ideas?
