I'm going crazy here. I swear I crafted hide boots with sockets last week and now I can't get socket on any hide boots at all. Anyone else notice this or have I been grinding to much!!=)

Hide boots are an item that is in the artisan tree rather then the tailoring tree. The chance of getting sockets in them is tied to your engineering skill level in artisan. Did you by chance give up any engineering skill?

I noticed that I used to get 3-4 sockets on artisan items when I had only engineering 1, however, once I grinded up to 4 and then dropped it, the sockets on those artisan items dropped to 2 if I was lucky.

Customers seem thrilled when they get sockets on my clothes, like they never expected it. Because they don't expect it, I don't get hyper about it. Besides, the way sockets seem to be working, 4 sockets are overkill.

aaah, thanks thats it. Didn't even think of that. I dropped engineering. Thanks was driving me crazy..hehe
