Just a question, someone gave me a +14 clothing assembly tape, which i had never heard of before, do we know if it will actually work? It also has a +13 structure complexity on it as well. I'm afraid to put it into clothing, as i die a lot and alsochange clothes nearly every day.
On a side note, is it just me, or do ubese shirts not decay? I just started armorsmith, and they have no stats, not even condition. If they don't decay, i might make one specifically for the tape.

I have had a ubese armor shirt for quite awhile and it has never decayed. Also, you can't put a clothing attachment in it because it is considered to be armor. You can however, put armor attachments in it, but I have never seen any clothing assembly armor attachments

Hmm, well, if I'm not mistaken, assembly is associated with the critical fail rate, so theoretically by using such a skill tape you'll have less critical failures. Now will it work? no idea.

I have heard from other crafting professions that the assembly tapes work. So it should work for tailors too. It is hard to prove if it works or not, though, as I rarely get critical errors as a master tailor.

I use the tapes and feel that they work wonderfully. Now, is it all in my head?? Very possible.

Well, since i usually geton average2 or lesscrit fails a day, i'm not sure it's worth using. hmmm, wonder if i could sell it to some other tailor for gobs of money. LOL, like we have 'gobs' of money.

All it takes is a couple of crit fails on items that take 6+ bio engineered cloths and suddenly an assembly tape starts looking real good, lol. Of course SOE claims they are working on the crit fail thing, but knowing them they'll mess it up and actually increase the rate of crit fails, lol.

Somedays i don't craft much, but when i stock my vendor that's about all the fails i get. And they are usually in a row. But I only stock about 25-50 items a day, when I stock. I'm a lazy tailor.
